What is a “Get Arty “PARTY?
A “GET ARTY” party is a two hour mobile art studio that comes to you with a certified art instructor and assistant artist. An image is chosen by the host for inspiration and the “GET ARTY” instruction allows room for self expression and palette choice.
No two paintings will look alike upon completion.
All Materials are provided for the event and no creative or artistic skills are needed. Best of all, no set up, no clean up - simply show up and “GET ARTY.” A GET ARTY party allows you to connect with your inner artist, and friends, making memories while creating your own artwork.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
At the age of 8 years old, I knew I was an artist. I attended Long Island University at C.W Post receiving a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Master of Science in Education. I’ve been teaching art in public schools for over 30 years while working as an exhibiting artist. Creating art makes me whole and I’ve made it my life’s mission to offer the gift of creating art to others, as we all can be creative beings with a little confidence, guidance and encouragement.
The Slogan “GET ARTY” has been with a part of my career since 1990, after an exchange of words with a young student who was overwhelmed by life. I encouraged him to “GET ARTY” because creating can provide inner peace and escapism from everyday worries and situations.
“GETTING ARTY” is a state of mind which allows you to express yourself.

I loved the “Get Arty” Party. It was not as rigid as the other “paint and sips” that I’ve been to. The participants were given just the right amount of guidance so they could remain autonomous & creative in our own individual ways. Right from the beginning were were told “ we’re here to have fun” and it truly was. The instructor and assistant were constantly mingling through the crowd, providing encouragement to all and advice to those who asked for help. Everyone created paintings that were based on similar theme but were unique and different, definitely expressing the difference in personalities and talents in the guests that night.
